About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh. u2tour.de reports that the Band hasn?t decided whether and in which form the
Slane-Video-material will be released, but at the moment a DVD-Release of the
Slane Castle-gig isn?t planned in the near future because they have just
released the Boston-DVD.
This information comes from the tribute band Achtung Vorsprung
(http://www.u2germany.com), who got it from an official source.

A member from Spincam.com who produced the material of the Slane-gig told us
that they recorded numerous gigs and interviews most of
which goes up directly on the artists site. So there is a chance, that
the Slane-footage will be available on the u2.com-website too.

And concerning the Best Of-Releases later this year:
There will be a DVD to accompany the “Best Of 1990-2000″ album but that is
unlikely to be released until late november at the earliest.
That come along with numerous reports in the past.
