About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh.
My online activities, I'm curator of several U2 related sites: U2exit.com, U2torrents.com, U2fansites.com, and U2radio.com. I've maintained a U2 fan site in some form since the late 1990's.See Authors Posts (2587) on Jul 25, 2002 in News & Rumors | Comments Off
Belgian fan site U2 Vlaanderen (http://www.u2vl.org) reports that the Swiss owner of the
airplane used by U2 during the Elevation Tour met with a BBC film crew this week for a
documentary it is making on Bono’s life.
The airplane owner said, “They [the BBC crew] took several shots of the aircraft used for the
tour and interviewed the PrivatAir pilot who flew the band. We understand the film will be
aired on the BBC this fall.”
