u2tour.de is reporting that a source at Universal Austria
has detailed info concerning the new releases:
The “Best Of 1990 - 2000″ will contain 2 new singles:
* Electrical Storm (not Electric Storm)
* Hands that built America (which is for the Scorsese movie “Gangs of New
York”)
Some employees from Universal (Austria) could listen to Electrical Storm
already, the general opinion is: awesome!!!
Release dates (definately!)
21.Oct. “Electrical Storm” (Single and DVD-Single)
11.Nov. “Best Of 1990 - 2000″ limited edition (incl. Bonus CD with rarities
and B-Sides AND DVD with snippets from the video “History Mix”)
18.Nov. “Best Of 1990 - 2000″ normal version
02.Dec. DVD & VHS “Best Of 1990 - 2000″
And there are GREAT news about the Slane Concert!
Universal Austria is in negotiation with the Austrian public television (ORF)
for a broadcast of the Slane Concert!!!
It is not fixed yet, but they are definately trying to get a date to broadcast
it.
