About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh. Remarks:
U2 perform a short set in front of 150 people that is recorded for the CD:UK television program. Vertigo, which is done with pre-recorded music and Bono singing live, is expected to air a week from now. Bono wants to perform Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own again because the crowd is too loud the first time. They try it again at the end of the set with Bono explaining that it’s an emotional song and he wants to sing it without the clapping and screaming from earlier in the set.
