About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh. U2 perform a live set at Hanover Quay studios which airs live on BBC Radio 1. A small crowd of about 20 fans are in the audience after winning tickets from Radio 1. Bono introduces Miracle Drug by telling the story of a former Mt. Temple student named Christopher Nolan who overcame cerebral palsy, used medical and scientific advancements to be able to write, and is now a published poet and novelist. Bono changes the words in Beautiful Day to mention tonight’s radio event.
