About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh.
My online activities, I'm curator of several U2 related sites: U2exit.com, U2torrents.com, U2fansites.com, and U2radio.com. I've maintained a U2 fan site in some form since the late 1990's.See Authors Posts (2587) on Sep 27, 2006 in Appearances | Comments Off
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – U2 frontman Bono has signed on as the first guest on musician/producer David A. Stewart’s upcoming music-themed interview show for HBO.
Described as "musicians on musicians," the show will feature the Eurythmics member interviewing fellow artists about their craft. One of the show’s producers, Jimmy Iovine, runs U2′s Interscope Records label.
The pay cable network has ordered six half-hour episodes of the show to air early next year.
U2 and punk rock trio Green Day performed several songs at the official reopening of the Superdome in New Orleans Monday, including a cover of the Skids’ "The Saints Are Coming," which was recorded to benefit musicians from the area ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
