With its monster-selling Vertigo tour complete, U2 is ready to reinvent itself, frontman Bono said during a BBC Radio interview earlier this week. DUBLIN, Ireland (AP) — Irish rocker and humanitarian Bono will become a knight of the British empire — but the U2 frontman won’t be called ”Sir.”

U2 open “Window”
The video for U2’s new single features a roll call of stars spanning the entire history of rock’n'roll.
The promo clip for "Window In The Skies" has been leaked online this week and features a montage of music heroes seemingly miming the track.
Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, The Rolling Stones, Ray Charles and Jimi Hendrix all feature in the video.
Meanwhile, more contemporary stars such as The White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nirvana, Beck, Jay Z and Mary J. Blige also star.
"Window In The Skies" is the second of two new tracks to feature on U2’s new greatest hits album, "U218". It is released as a single on January 1, 2007.

The content of the show is, at this point, unknown but if we hear anything further, we will let you know.
