U2 frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge will guest on Tom Jones’upcoming new album, which is called 24 Hours and comes out on November 25th. The pair contribute to a track called “Sugar Daddy.”
Jones has also covered Bruce Springsteen’s latest song “The Hitter,” which Springsteen wrote and recorded for the soon-to-be released movie The Wrestler. The album is the first by Jones to be released in the U.S. in 15 years.
Bono recently announced that U2 will not release its next album, originally due by the end of this year, until early 2009. He said that the group wants to keep writing and add more material to what it’s already recorded. Recent rumors suggest that the album will be called No Line on the Horizon.
