About: A little about me, I was bitten with the U2 obsession in 1991 with the release of Achtung Baby. Although I’ve known about U2 since the mid 80’s it wasn’t until the AB album that I was hooked. AB was the very first (and only) album that I had ever owned that I played straight through without hating a single song. I truly love every song on that album. Even today that album seems so fresh. I really don’t want to have wait nearly two more months for U2’s “No Line on the Horizon.“ But, until the reported first single, “Get On Your Boots,“ is leaked, er, officially released, you can share in my frustration with this new commercial touting the album’s release.

As much as I’d like to criticize Bono for his pompous Bono-ness (that swelling music! those grandiose statements!), I can’t disagree with his statement about music, that songs can change the temperature of the room. See, that’s why you kinda have to love the guy, even when he trips over his own ego.
