The Saints — of football and rock and roll — are marching in.
It’s been more than a year since the New Orleans Saints played a game in the Louisiana Superdome, their home for nearly 30 NFL seasons. After Hurricane Katrina, the team was forced to play all its games on the road, while the stadium served as an impromptu — and controversial — camp for displaced residents. NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 6 (UPI) — The NFL Network will mark the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks by re-airing the Super Bowl XXXVI half-time show featuring Irish rockers U2.
U2 performing "Beautiful Day," "MLK" and "The Streets Have No Name" with the names of the victims scrolling on a floor-to-ceiling banner will be televised during "NFL Total Access," the network said in a news release Wednesday.
"This is one of the most memorable and meaningful half-time performances in the history of Super Bowl," the network’s Charles Coplin said. "As we look back on the five years since 9/11 we felt our fans would enjoy this uplifting show."
The Feb. 3, 2002 championship game at New Orleans’ Louisiana Superdome saw the New England Patriots beat the St. Louis Rams 20-17. It was originally broadcast on Fox TV.

Many are gathering in Sarajevo for the 12th annual Sarajevo Film Festival in the Bosnian capital on Friday. Sarajevo Film Festival is an international film festival with specific goal of supporting and promoting regional cinematography and it is recognized by FIAPF as a Competitive Specialized Festival.
While the Sarajevo festival’s organisers aim to promote young directors from the region, international stars are also expected to grace the red carpet in Sarajevo.
Nick Nolte will present his latest film "Peaceful Warrior" on Sunday, and U2’s Bono, who devoted parts of the band’s 1993 Zooropa tour to the besieged Bosnian capital, is expected in Sarajevo on the same day.
