I got in about two hours early and I was probably the 10 or 15th person

the entire floor.

I reply:
When I first started going to concerts, they were all general
admission... the reason you were the 10th or 15th person there (ONLY two
hours in advance) was because the seats WERE assigned-- at all of the
general admission shows I've attended, everyone would come hours, if not
DAYS in advance to get the closest position to the stage possible. Of
course, sometimes you could work your way forward once the show
started... or you could also be injured from being crushed down front.
Even at a seemingly calm show (I had 2 broken ribs from a Howard Jones
show -- and I wasn't even a fan)
