I am very deeply saddened by the fact that Rob has really gotten
personal on his most recent post. My posts stick to the issue at hand
and attack the validity of his points about U2. Unfortunately, he has
taken his accusations overboard.
I would not rather post against his purely personal and
inflamatory posts. I do not want to be the judge. I'll just let the
posts of the other Wirelings speak for themselves. As Bono appealed
to Mr. Pinochet in the Popmart Santiago concert: We do not judge you,
God is your judge.
Posting purely personal posts with doubtful credibilty and twisted
facts does not belong to Wire. The arguments were about the band and
that's it. Wire is about U2 and not about two children fighting. We
should argue using valid points, and not appeal to emotion to let them
side with you, Mr. Okorn. Wire is a group of intelligent fans, as
eveidenced by the fact that they don't take everything posted at face
value (such as your anti-90s-U2 posts).
Once again, it has deeply disappointed me that you have resorted
to purely personal and malicious posts. I am now left without
recourse but to just not let my emotions get the better of me. I'll
just take it easy on myself the next few days and hopefully refrain
from being emotional with your derogartory posts about U2, because now
you have done so towards me. You are treating me the same way your
treat the 90s U2, in a derogartory manner. I have been deeply
disturbed and affected by this.
I think there is still room for forgiveness. I am a Christian and
I believe in forgiveness (please, non-Christian Wirelings..please
don't flame me for this "religious" reference..I am just getting too
emotional now). I am still very thankful to you, Mr. Okorn, for all
the advice you have given in the past, but is this what you will do to
me and get purely personal in Wire?
You can reply all you want, but if the posts are purely personal,
I will not reply anymore because I feel I am depriving the Wirelings
of sensible posts by posting this non-U2 post (just as you did in your
previous posts). I AM SORRY WIRE...
