Can we please keep lengthy discussions about politics in Northern Ireland to
personal emails...to be honest, I don't think many people on WIRE actually
follow all the complexities of the debates on this issue (I certainly
don't) - and frankly, they become very tedious when allied with partisan
Unionist/Republican loyalties. This is not a flame, but I get frustated when
I scroll through acres of text without anything related to the music of U2
(and I'd rather hear from people who actually live in Ireland during that
kind of argument, rather than Americans who feel strongly about it).

In my experience, EP stands for Extended Play. It also stands for Elizabeth
Platt, who does much extended playing on this mailing list. If she
concentrated more on issues diectly relating to U2 (and she is clearly an
intelligent, eloquent writer), the list might be more rewarding for
everyone.

I'll now await an angry response!
