Well, the U2 FDB now has 181 people in it!! This number is special since
this was the number of people at the previous site before it was shut down.
It took 17 months to get 181 members at the old site, it only took 40 DAYS
to get that many for the new site. Thanks to everyone for making the site
a success. I'm quite happy with it! In honor of this, a bit of fun and
prizes:
U2 FAN DATABASE SCAVENGER HUNT WITH PRIZES!!!!
Prizes (pictures available at the U2 FDB):
(1) The LAST of only 10 reproduction Edge Hats! Last year I made 10 Edge
hats, similar to those he used to wear on the Zoo Tours. My sister and I
have 3, 6 others were sold, I have **ONE** left (it's a small
unfortunately), which has 8 different hand embroidered U2 related logos on
it. A unique addition to any U2 collection.
(2) A Staring At The Sun Promo CD.
How to play:
Go to the U2 Fan DataBase. Inside you will see a link "Scavenger Hunt
181". Follow it, read the directions, and answer the 30 questions. The
FIRST person to get all the answers correct will receive 4 chances in a
drawing for the hat and 2 chances in a drawing for the Promo CD. All other
correct answers get a single chance in each drawing. Odds of winning
depend on how many correct answers I get (you share your answers, you lower
your chances). The contest will go on for a week until Monday Aug 10th at
12:00 PST!! From all entries received, I will randomly pick the winners.

TIPS/REMINDERS:
(1) If you ever want to change your database info., just resubmit a new form!
(2) Please send photos "Firstname_Lastname.xxx" (where "xxx" is .gif,
.jpg, or .bmp).
(3) Please DO NOT name your graphic "me.jpg" or whatever, use your name.
(4) Last name is not optional since entries are sorted and alphabetized by
it.
(5) If you have a concern, question, comment, or notice an error... let me
know!
(6) Photos are not required, but recommended. The only requirement is
that they are U2 related.
