Do y'all see a theme here? We all know tons about U2, for example,
but do any of us REALLY know about what ended Edge's marriage?
The same thing with R.E.M. I think R.E.M. and U2 have learned a lot
from each other. Both took a while to hit it big and both hit it
big about the same time (in the latter 80's). I wouldn't be surprised
if both bands "agreed" that it was great to reveal "all" about the band,
but little about their personal lives.

Considering the success of both bands, perhaps this is the best way
to work. After all, if we knew EVERYTHING, it just detracts from the
focal point. Just ask Pres. Clinton! :-D

Ciao,

John
