Wowa! What do they serve at concerts over there!? You mean it's so good
that people actually fork out wads of cash just for the privilege of eating
these gastronomic delights in a cramped seat in a crowded stadium? I gotta
check out these Chicago shows sometime. . .
Seriously. . .just there for the drinks and food? I find that highly
improbable. Maybe they were really into the atmosphere. . .y'know, the
feeling of being at a huge party surrounded by lots and lots of happy
people, with the added bonus of live music in the background. There's
nothing wrong with this. Lots of people (myself included on certain
occasions) would not be content to merely watch the band and listen intently
to the music. A steady supply of alcohol can very much enhance the whole
experience. It's too bad you were inconvenienced by their desire to have
fun, but there's nothing wrong with other people having fun too. You just
have to learn to appreciate their way of doing it.
