This "Greatest Hits" Thing

I too own "Greatest Hits" albums of other artists (like Bruce
Sprinsteen, for example). I don't really know if it would be a good
idea for U2 to release one. As somebody mentioned before, a lot of U2's
best U2 songs were not even released as "hits" at all, so the album
might be lacking something we fans would want. But they could do what
I've seen some artists do, release the greatest hits album and include
some of their never-released brand new songs on it. I'll support the
band no matter what is decided. I wouldn't want to see them forced into
something they didn't feel right about. I guess I can't see that
happening to them anyway. For those of you who would like a "greatest
hits" album, and if it doesn't come out, I've got a suggestion for
you....make your own! That's what I do a lot of the time. Dig out all
your U2 CDs, pick a song or two from each album, and record them on a
blank tape. Then you can have all your favorite songs with you whenever
you want to listen to them!
