If U2 Would Make A Compilation Album...

Why don't U2 just make a multiple CD boxed set to finish off their
contract with Polygram?

This is just an entertaining thought to me. If U2 would release a
boxed set or a b-side and rarity compilation, do you guys think that
they have many full songs and fully recorded "hidden gems" out there
that we haven't even heard yet? The way the bootleg industry has
fared, especially when it comes to U2, it seems as if every "complete
song" they have whether it be recorded fully in a stdio release or
live release seems to be available in bootleg form.

Yet, every so often, there are so many "new" undiscovered Beatles
recordings that pop up. Does U2 have enough material from recording
sessions that have been kept?

Cheers,

J
