finally..

You know what the problem is, don't you?? You live in America (as do
I). It's called a lack of radio diversity and 99% of the corporate
monopoly out there ruling the airwaves just doesn't care! "Playlist" is
just another word for what the advertisers deem to be safe and generic
songs that won't scare away potential customers. (Note to the rest of
the world...you don't know how good you've really got it! I could listen
to Dutch radio 24 hours a day! :-)) Unfortunately, it looks like you'll
just have to stick to your CD collection, because when it comes to U2,
most radio programmers don't realize that they put out any records in
the 90's!
Am I mad?? Darn right I am! (this is a family list isn't it?) Here in
America we're subjected to the same songs over and over and over.. while
thousands of great records are being put out each year. Records with
songs that will never make it to commercial radio. You want to know
what's wrong with the record industry? For starters go talk to the
people running radio stations in this country.

Todd.. so what if I'm an upset musician

p.s. There are some radio programmers who go out on a limb and play good
music, but they're few and far between.
