Well, this among other things Heidi mentioned in her post is so right on!

And I will stand second in line as she picks through the numerous U2
collections people will be giving up now that they are no longer U2 fans.
Nico, you can stand behind me! (LOL -- Elena and Alli, you can stand with me!
Hehehe). And MODSAVAGE, you have it all anyway!

As I said before, anything with a U or a 2 is mine!

As for those of you who are "disappointed" at the band's decision to have a
greatest hits album, W-H-A-T-E-V-E-R! If you want to give up years of
dedication and inspiration because the band and management want to give
something back to Island, or want to be 1 album closer to washing their hands
of PG, or want to make some quick cash, that's your choice. But how dare you
tell me and everyone else, that it's wrong for them to do it. U2 will put out
a new album. You can't force them to just come up with new material right
after a year on tour. They have families and lives, and if this album helps
them gain the time to give us more original music, then so be it. I am all
for it.

If it's selling out, which the definition is quite broad. Then who the hell
cares? When did U2 ever say that they were to live a life of poverty, and
they should only put out risky work that gets no recognition? Well, that's
what I am seeing here anyway. And if that is the case, then I have a new
motto. U2 is like driving, it's a privilege, and if you fuck up, you get it
taken away. (Tacky I know, my husband is the one who really said it -- but I
kinda like it.)

And to the FREAK who told Bono to fuck off ... whoa chica! You better hope
that was a misprint!

In the name of Sparky!
Shannon Carey-Thorpe
(and yes, belau2 -- that's Mrs. Thorpe to you -- twit)!
