Sad state of Las Vegas radio part II

Hi WIRE!!!!
Well, here i go agan. over Labor Day weekend KOMP had a "you say it we
play it" weekend. So I decided to call up this radio station and request
"Last Night On Earth". Keep in mind that the D-J (who shall remain
nameless) said he'd play it. He was once was a D-J on the now
non-exsistant KEDG. He premired "Last Night on Earth" and had nothing
but good things to say about it. So guess what. He didn't play it!!
What's a WIRELING to do with nothing but radio stations that don't play
what U2 fans want to here?. The quest goes on as I (and hopefully some
help from my fellow Clark County WIRELINGS) try to get some new U2
played out here though peacefull non-flaming methods. my next move is to
call the comment lines and let them know how I feel, nicely. Why am I so
hung up about this? Well, after KEDG changed it's format, that left me
with only three modern rock stations to choose from, one of whom plays
that loud whinny stuff. Keep in mind that U2 is not the only band who is
discriminated against out here. The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie and
Depech Mode as well as others are also victoms of these shrinking
playlists.

until my next rant/ complaint or what ever you wanna call it,

Ron (desertrat)
