Hi Wires,

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong regarding the Bono/Kirk Franklin collaboration
of Lean on Me. It was my understanding that this release was recorded to
benefit churches and to help get people back into churches, especially in
the inner-city neighborhoods.

The following article was printed in The Dallas Morning News Neighborhood
Shopping Advertising Feature (a weekly mailbox stuffer throw away):

GOSPEL SINGER TO OPEN 15 CHURCHES RESTAURANTS

Fort Worth native Kirk Franklin recently announced plans to open 15 new
Churches Chicken restaurants, including 10 in the metroplex. The Grammy
Award-winning gospel artist who resides in Arlington, hopes the
multi-million dollar agreement will be the beginning of new development in
the metroplex's inner-city neighborhoods.

"There have to be stores in urban communities. That is what I represent,"
says Mr. Franklin. "I experienced a lot of challenges growing up. Never in
my wildest dreams did I think I would have an opportunity to stand here and
represent so much."

Mr. Franklin has written the lyrics and appeared in several radio and
television advertisements for Churches in the last two years. Some of the
lyrics have been based on themes from his highly successful album, "God's
Property".

Churches Chicken, the second largest quick-service chicken restaurant
concept in the world, has more than 1,300 locations in 27 states and 8
countries worldwide.

Well guys, I'm confused - is Bono promoting houses of worship or chicken
shacks?
Did I miss something?

Stacy
