U2 and Walt Disney World

Wow, just when you really think the world really does revolve around U2, you
get the biggest piece of evidence of all!

I was trying out for a roll in an upcoming commercial for the airline I work
for in Orlando. (Keeping fingers crossed.) Because of the time I had to be
there I decided just stay the night (2 really -- we got carried away) with my
husband and nephew (a.k.a. rent-a-kid) and the Walt Disney World Resort.
Well, I went off for the casting meeting in the morning and the boys went to
MGM. When I came back, they left a message that they would not be back for a
few hours, so I went shopping. Well, I went into a shop in our hotel
(Coronado Springs --- I do not recommend it -- cast members are VERY RUDE, and
NOT HELPFUL with small children). Oh where was I? OHH SHOPPING!! So I went
into this shop and I saw these red letters that caught my eye. I walked up to
this shirt and it had ONE in big red letters. It said, "One World, One Mouse"
and I thought oooh how cute! I had to have it! And so I got it!

Now, I know what your thinking. Bono says nothing about a mouse. Bono
inspired by Disney, or Disney inspired by Bono? But I could not get One out
of my head! It was just something to make the most magical place on Earth,
just that much more!

Oh, then, today at work was give blood day! So I went in to give my pint. I
would rather have had a pint, but we won't go there. Well, I'm getting real
nervous. The lady who was gonna stick me couldn't find a vein, and had to
call the supervisor over 2 times to help. Bad thing, right? You got it! She
stuck me with the needle and SHOVED it in! I screamed something about her
mother and father and then passed out. Well, as I came to, there was a U2
song on the radio. Which one? I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
Get it? She couldn't find the vein! AHHH! (True story -- they even yelled
at me for singing.)

Then to top off my day, I was watching some show on Fox -- Files (?) like
their version of Dateline. And they were playing clips of Hold Me Thrill Me
Kiss Me Kill Me as their intro music! I squealed out loud! My coworkers
think I spent too much time at "Dizzy World."

Anyhoo!
