Not surprising that some concessions were made and 'Deep in the Heart'
seems to be the casualty. Too bad, it's an excellent track and I guess
there's a price to pay for the bargain basement price.
The 2 UF b-sides that were on 'Wide awake' are also included so 'Wide
Awake' pales next to what the b-side disc offers.

The Denver 'Bad' is an OK version, would have been more enticing if they
released a different version, already Rattle and Hum version on legit
video, upcoming DVD, even the Excerpts from Rattle and Hum Promo, then
again the RHT and JT on Fire versions are already out there. I guess
it's the safe thing to do given people's familiarity with that version.

Lanois' attention to detail and 'feel' is well known, on his last few
projects, he's continued to introduce more traditional instruments for a
more organic natural feel. His last few projects have gotten the most
out of the artist(s) he's worked with.
Good riddance to Howie B who's more interested in getting pot across
borders and looking cool.
If Lanois is aboard, he'll make a big difference. Lanois has a studio
in New Orleans and many of his 90's projects were recorded there so who
knows if U2 will make the trek there.
