Sweetest Thing US release?

Someone posted earlier that The Sweetest Thing single wouldn't be released in
the US. Is that a definite thing? I was just wondering because someone
yeterday said something about the single being released Monday, Oct 19 and I
was in Musicland today and they had it posted on their calender that U2 was
scheduled to release something on Tuesday, Oct 20. I figured it was a
mistake, but maybe they know something. Unfortunately when I asked the lady
working there didn't know any thing about it.

Even though "A Celebration" isn't really an B-side recording, I think U2
should release it on the B-side album because it is a really great song only
available on vinyl. And even though I have pretty much all U2 B-sides already
either on singles or bootlegs I think they should release everything that is
only available on vinyl on a special CD. If they wanted to give the fans a
real treat they should re-record all of the old tunes like they're doing with
"The Sweetest Thing."

I also just realized today that the month October is in between Sept. and Nov.
Here I was hyped up about getting the "Best of Album" in a couple of weeks.
Guess I'll just have to wait longer.
