B-sides CD

Ok. Just to clear this up:

What I understand about the B-sides CD is that it will be sold as a
limited edition package with the Best Of.. CD only for the first week of
release. I guess it will be, in their words, "specially priced",
meaning it will be more expensive than the one CD alone, perhaps like a
double CD set.

ALSO, many people tend to think that the 3 album deal they signed will
be comprised of "best of.." CDs from 1980-90, 91-2000, and 2001-2010.
HOWEVER, as I understood it, the B-sides CD *DOES COUNT* as the second
of the three. So the next and last album they put out in this "Best
Of.." contract will have to be from 1991 to whenever, and not 91-2000
and then 2001-2010. Now this could be good news and bad news for us.
We have all heard that they are back in the studio, writing NEW material
to be released on a NEW album coming out (I had heard) in July of 1999.
And they still have a 6 (?) album contract to fulfill. So the third and
final Best Of.. album probably won't be released for quite a while, or
at least near the end of their 6 (is it 6?) album contract.

My question is, this 2-CD set is going to be "limited edition", sold
only for the first week of release? Are they going to keep in stores
the copies that were shipped and not sold? That's not really all that
limited then.

Anyway, I hope that this clears up some confusion, although I just
confused myself and probably all of you even more...

Dream out loud,
amanda
