I'm getting tired of all of the complaints about the GH--or whatever the
hell you want to call it. Disagreement over anything is perfectly valid.
But "selling out" or "closure move" is something I disagree with big
time. OK, they got the big time bucks. It's true that they don't
exactly need the money. But this was not the band's decision'; it was
corporate politics. Egads, they're not our slaves. Can't they make
their own decisions about their own material? All of these songs were
hard work, and their own creation. They can't please all of the people
all of the time......you're not going to agree with U2 all of the time,
and I don't think they expect that from us. They can only try. I hope
this note makes sense; I had the Trip From Hell when my car broke down
in some one-horse town and I had to hitch a ride with a friend and leave
my damn car in that town to get it towed! Ouch! . Please don't flame me,
and PLEASE do not write me irate e-mails! I don't trash people who
disagree with me; pretty good idea, huh?

Pax,
Patricia
