For all you NYC-area wirelings, I saw an ad yesterday in the Voice for a
"NYC Record and CD Collectors Expo" which will be tomorrow, Saturday
Sept. 19th from 10 AM to 4 PM at "The Inn", 440 West 57th St. (between
9th and 10th Aves.). The ad boasts imports, promos, new releases, etc.
from every genre of music. Admission is $6, or $5 with the ad from the
Voice.
Anyone know if these things are worth going to? I'm hoping they'll have
a lot of U2 stuff, but I'm thinking maybe I'll even be better off going
to a few little shops in the Village (i.e. Bleeker Bob's, etc.).
Thought I'd let you all know, and if anyone knows anything about U2
selection at these expo-things, please email me.
