Record shows are good if you aren't looking for any specific title. You can
find
new releases for $10 and lotsa CD singles. The shows at the Inn have are mostly
vinyl, but you will find CD's. I always find myself buying lotsa Stones, Bowie,
SRV
and such cause the prices are so cheap. A good bootleg store in NYC is
Generation Records.
I think its on Thompson between Bleeker and 3rd. They have lotsa U2 cds but
prepare
to pay $55 for double cds. You're better off trading on the net.

Also, listed below are artists who have put out a Best Of or B-Sides record.
In many cases, these records were released while the artist was still
considered "viable" in the artistic sense ( I've underlined artists who are
still recording).
Now we can ad U2 to this list. I think they are in fine company. As I think of
more
bands w/ GH albums, I'll post them.
