I am starting to become alarmed at the lack of knowledge (on the part of
the radio stations) here in the States regarding Sweetest Thing!! I have
called my local radio station the last 2 days about getting this song
played but they all claim that they have never heard about the song. They
say that if they had the single they would love to play it but haven't
heard a peep about it. To confuse things even more....I checked out the
local CD store and inquired as to when the Sweetest Single would be
released. They said they had no record of such a release and that only the
Greatest Hits release appeared on the release list for the next few months.

I am baffled. Why no marketing push for this song? Is it going to be
released in the US? I guess not, and that REALLY disappoints me. I always
wondered what the public would have done if this single would have been
released back in '87. I always thoughts they'd love it. After all, I have
made many a fan convert after they heard Sweetest Thing. I really was
pumped to hear that the song would be redone and released. Guess we'll
never know.

Anyone who can shed some light on the situation????????????????
