Big question here - what the heck happened to the Stay rereleased
single?? I'm in Canada and I've had an order in the local music store
since July for the single. They've tried and tried but they can't get it
- it's just not there! I got a call from them today telling me, in all
finality, that they could not get it. Is it supposed to be here in
Canada? What's going on?
Another question - will we be able to order the limited ed. GH
album here in Canada? I've already put in an order, just in case.
Should i also put in one for the Sweetest Thing single? Will it be
coming to Canada too?
Wow, all this talk all this talk. GH this and that. I have to admit
at first I hated the idea - and you'd think that from all the talk,
before the official announcement of the GH album, of a majority of
people on Wire not wanting U2 to put out a GH, that they'd get the idea
not to do it. But I see many have turned around and are now pleased with
the idea. It may take me a bit. I have the attitude of one of my friends
- she LIKES being one of the few true Smashing Pumpkins fans in our
school, as I do with U2. It just gives a sense of difference and having
something just close to you - ok I'm being a bit elite but... you don't
want lots of people just picking up U2 for a few months and be crazy
about them and then drop them? Of course it doesn't always go that way
and it's good that U2 are picking up more fans and that they get the
money. So anyways, all in all I now like the idea. They're taking it in
way (especially with the lim. ed. of bsides) that's really good for
their fans and in a way very interesting to the non-fans or the
to-be-fans. The guys deserve it, they did a lot of hard work and put
lots of years into being able to make a GH.
Anyways, I won't go farther because I'm sure everyone is now sick of the
arguement - and I don't want one. :)
Time to do some homework (oooh as if I do anything else..)
