One year ago today was U2's triumphant show in Sarajevo. It was a
triumph for the band in that they fulfilled a promise Bono made; a
triumph for Bono in that he overcame his vocal virus to perform a
passionate show; it was a triumph for the crew in that they were able
to produce the show in a recent warzone; and most importantly a
triumph for the good people of Sarajevo/Bosnia/the former Yugoslavia -
in that the show was a symbol of hope in the rebuilding of their
city and their world.
Give the show another listen today if you've got it and say a prayer
that this never happen this way again.
