Pop Up Video

Yo quiero U2.

For all the hubbub (or is that bubbub?) surrounding this coming election day,
cash-strapped U2 fans will have a more pressing decision to make than who to
vote for -- namely, which new U2 product to add to their collection first.
When the Irish quartet pops its greatest hits cherry on Nov. 3 with U2: The
Best of 1980-1990, the group will simultaneously release U2 PopMart: Live from
Mexico, its fourth concert video.
Filmed on Dec. 3, 1997 at Mexico City's Foro Sol Autodromo, the concert film
provides a snapshot of the band's year-long PopMart extravaganza. The show
features songs that frequently popped up during the second leg of the U.S.
tour, including "I Will Follow," "New Year's Day," "Pride (In the Name of
Love)," "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "All I Want is You," "Where the Streets Have
No Name" and "With or Without You," all of which appear on The Best Of
1980-1990. Ahhh, synergy.
