Umm ... hello. Have you ever heard of the import section of the record shops?
It's a lovely little area, you should visit it sometime. Not only will you
eventually find the Sweetest Thing 98 copy there, you may also find some other
singles of songs with different versions and B-sides. Novel idea huh? Oh, but
wait ... you may discover there are other things U2 has released to other
countries (hence, the meaning of an import), and not in the US -- Maybe you
better not visit that section after all.

$6.99 or $12.99 does it really matter ... your gonna buy it anyway. But
here's the thing ... The Sweetest Thing '98 is going to be on the Greatest
Hits CD, and the original will be on the B-side CD. You will however, need to
get the single if you want the single's B-sides.

<<, and a slap to the continent that has paid more of their earnings than
Europe...>>

Well ... that was just plain rude. What makes you so high and mighty? What
makes Europeans less deserving? I am quite sure there would be some Europeans
on this list who may have uno petite problemo with that statement. Not to
mention you're getting into the "I am a better U2 fan then you because I
foolishly fork over money I should be putting into savings for retirement
because by the time I am 65 there will be no more social security for me --
not to mention I spend more time memorizing lyrics, quotes and general garbage
about the band instead of paying attention to my job or studies -- so there"
argument. And that in itself is foolish.

I think with a caviler attitude like that, then U2 is justified to release the
single only to Europe. (It's nice to have friends though, that hook you up!
Hehehe)

<<WAKE UP, BOYS!>>

Whatever!

<<So, USA Wire-lings, are we gonna make a stink or what???>>

No, not me ... I have better things to do (like make coffee for all the other
Americans who seem to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today).

In the name of Sparky!
Shannon Carey-Thorpe

ADAM!!
( I just wanted to do that once)
