Just to quickly pass the word along to any other NYC listeners --
I was shopping down at Pearl this morning when the Sweetest Thing started
playing in the store -- I was so excited I dropped my basket and (after
picking it up) ran to find one of the clerks with the "Can I Help You?"
aprons. He gave me a funny look when I asked him which radio station it was -
but he told me 102.7. That's the first time I've heard ST played on air
here...
Also, if you're willing to put up with the "modern rock" format of 105.1, they
do play quite a bit of older U2 - primarily JT but sometimes early hits from
War and every once in a while Bad or One.
