There was a brief 5 minute interview with the fellas on the set of the
Sweetest Thing video on Channel V in Oz this morning.
All band members spoke briefly about the whole Best Of concept (yes,
including Larry.)
Quote Edge: 'There are about 15 moments, that kinda crystalized 15
songs, that have, 10 years later, stood the test of time.'
Quote Bono: 'We have to accept that there are people out there who
aren't familiar with our work in the 80's.'
Quote Larry: 'You sort of realise why you didn't give it up 10 years
earlier cos you really have so much left to prove.'
Quote Adam: 'Pre 86-87 it was a bit a doss and after that it got a bit
serious!'
It then went onto the making of the video with the complete version (not
the Rage version) of the video after.
If those in Australia really, really, really want a copy of it (it only
goes for 7 minutes INCLUDING the video) let me know.
