I have been in absentia lately because of an overwhelming amount of
school-type thingies. But I would like to comment on Reno's post. (Boo's
and Hisses from the gallery). Yeah so what its off-topic, when has that
stopped anyone.
I don't want to jump on the whole "put-down-Reno" bandwagon,
but...(dramatic pause)...Regardless of what his and Anna/Aingeal's
relationship was/is/will be...it's really none of our business. It's
between the two of them, unfortunately we were all brought into it with
Reno's passive-agressive post. It was obvious (to me anyway) that the
whole reason he wrote it WAS to bring us into it. So there is no use
attacking Reno by saying how nice Anna is, or attacking Anna by saying
how nice Reno is, because when it comes right down to it...it doesn't
matter! It's not OUR problem, its theirs and THEY are the ones that need
to deal with it.
And to Reno, who can say "I'm not gonna read my emails or Wire anymore"
all he wants to. Bullshit. I know what passive-agressiveness is...I
wrote the frigging book on it. I know you're reading this. You probably
check your email more than ever now to see if you get responses about
it. I know because I was/am just like you. You cannot have a healthy
relationship, romantic or friend or any type, if you threaten to kill
yourself everytime something goes wrong. We both know that the only
reason you typed that letter to Wire is so you would see if people would
pay attention to you. You probably even thought that Anna would read it
and feel sorry for you and you could guilt her into talking to you
again. It doesn't work that way. Even if it did it wouldn't solve
anything, it would just build up resentment. You need to help yourself
before you can be with someone, I would urge you to seek counseling.
This is not an insulting "you need a shrink cuz you're nutz!" type of
statement. This is a "you are a human that is obvious pain and you need
to work through it" type of statement.
