        According to "Into the heart", they were separated in 86 because
Bono couldn't live in Dublin anymore (because of the band's fame) and Ali
agreed with him for a break in USA. So the whole band left Dublin for L.A.
(not sure this was this town). And Ali could see Bono from times to times.
In this book it didn't seem bad about their marriage. But it also true Ali
sometimes thrown Bono out when he fails to come back to reality after a tour.

        PS: Modsavage thought about (song title) because they separated
temporarily at that time. But in my mind, a temporary separation has nothing
to do with a break up (like Edge's one).
