Please, just because I disagree with many of the criticisms of the GH
compilations, don't think that I think these people are "real fans". I
don't want to start an Inquisition and burn allegedly "questionable"
fans at some sort of verbal stake. But I did read on Rolling Stone
Online (from the @U2 news) that this contract also obligates the band to
make a new album. They've already had meetings with Eno and Lanois,
according to the info I've been able to pick up. So maybe this GH isn't
the greatest thing since sliced bread, but.......a new album is indeed
on the way. There! Look, no Inquisition.....heck, I didn't even bring
the Dominicans with me with the stakes!! :-) I don't want to start a
flame war or a great big controversy or whatever.....it's just that
opinions are like noses--everybody has them, and everybody is entitled
to them, including yours truly, and those who disagree with me as well.
