Someone mentioned the other day that in the ST video, the marching band
was wearing the same uniforms that the boys on the cover of INXS's
"Welcome to Wherever you Are" cd are wearing... Being a relatively new
INXS fan, and recently having purchased the cd, I took out the sleeve and
did some investigating....hm...

In the last page of the sleeve, there are 3 more similar pictures of boys
in the blue/red uniforms, and next to them it says:

"The Artane Boys Band was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1872. The age
range of the boys ifs from 8 years to 16 years when members graduate to
the Adult Band. The Band has played in Europe, United States, and Canada
but its reputation in Ireland has been mainly achieved through its
performances at the All-Ireland Hurling and Football finals. The musical
repertoire of the Band is ver comprehensive, ranging from Bach through the
Beatles to rousing Irish airs.

Best known past members are Larry Mullen, drummer with U2, Leo Barnes,
saxophonist with Hothouse Flowers and Robert Arkins of The Commitments."

Well, there we have it!

Oh, and no need to apologize for Popmart....REALLY. Thanks VH1.
