I was watching "The Panel" today (it was actually on on wednesday
night...i taped it to watch today)....and one of their guests was Chuck
D from Public Enemy. They are just chatting when someone mentions that
Public Enemy has supported U2. I immeadiately start playing close
attention, like you do lol, and then Rob (who is my favourite panelist)
says "something-something-something BONE-O
something-something-something". ARGH!! The mans name is pronounced
Bon-o. I was rather upset. *obsessive??* Then Santo says something about
the Zoo Tour but thankfully he was corrected by Chuck who said "You mean
the Zoo Tv Tour" (quietly...everyone was talking at once).....the
highlight was Chucks comment "When U2 tour they are like a traveling
government". lmao I thought that was really cool. Predictably my mother,
who was watching with me, thought I was overreacting.
I also saw a U2- Sweetest Thing poster (about the release of the
single) stuck to a corregated iron wall on Parramatta Road (I live in
Sydney, Australia) today. Alas my mother wouldn't stop the car (so what
if there was 3 lanes of heavy traffic between our car and the poster?)
so I could tear the thing down to take home.
Needing psychiatric help or something,
