talked to Bono a couple of different times....Bono said they had 15 songs done
in 3 days at the studio..this I can believe because they were in the studio
everyday for about 10-12 hours ....Bono looked quite run down at times and he
was also sick..as was Larry...Adam...can I just say something? Adam looked
REALLY good and was so nice....he let one of us in the studio to use the
bathroom...and of course..it wasnt me....
we heard parts of different songs they were working on...there was one in
paticular we heard more than anything else...it was slower...basic drum
beat...there were string instruments in it and the bassline sounded very
nice.....Bono was singing but I couldnt hear WHAT he was singing...though the
girl who used the bathroom did ...why did she leave so quickly and not take my
damn recorder with her??? uhh..I will never know the answer to that
question...buht...the song sounded like a mixture between JT and POP...more
along the lines of the POP staring at the sun rock/pop type songs than
anything else...I didnt get to hear alot of it but only pieces here and
there....
whos Sandy?? id like to know...shes a singer...backup...african american and
who the hell is she?? she was recording with the band on a few different
days...
Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois were both there..I never would of guessed what
daniel lanois had looked like...he looks so different in person....
lets see....I know a guy there in Dublin who knows the band and runs a rec.
store there and he had mentioned that U2 were talking alot of playing Slane
Castle in 99...he also mentioned that U2 were trying to do a few unannounced
shows in Dublin at a VERY small venue that seats only 800 people and that they
were going to try and play here before the July 99 new album comes out...said
it would be an unplugged event.
this guy also said the band was COMPLETELY pissed off about the shows that
Chris (nuke noodls) had recorded on video and that they were NOT happy with
that....said that the band was NOT happy with Geraldo as well....
i had mentioned to him that I heard that alot of traders and sellers were
being busted by the RIAA and such and he said that most of these the busts the
band doesnt know about...and U2 have had no involvement with them..that
explains alot....
lets see? anything else??? not at the moment....too much happened...too much
fun...not enough Bono... :) and DOCKERS has THE BEST GUINNESS!!!

PS: the U2 wall has changed ALOT..graffitti artists have now gone in a covered
up almost everything there and theres not alot of U2 graffitti there...I took
pictures and will post them on my site in a week or so of
everything..including pics of the band ...Bono looks DAMN good right now :)
and..hes got hair too:)
