The actual presentation of this award won't be until December 10, which
is the anniversary of the death of the founder of the prize (he founded
it in his will). For some reason, it's traditional to *name* the
winners in mid-October, and then do the actual presentation in Oslo in
December. In fact, I think either Hume or Trimble is in the States right
now---but, as always, I could be wrong about this.
