I just read the posting regarding the arrest of Pinochet and the
Bono declarations and want to tell you my opinion as a Latin American.
I think Pinochet is a dictator who most be in prision long time ago,
if he is not is because he still ahve the support of the army, during
his period in the power the army was his children eyes so it is
normal I had some support.
But he is still a murder, maybe he did not pull the tricket, but
nevertheless he is responsible for the murders under his command.
For the tone you write I must think you had an holgade position in
Chile before Him, and as long Salvador Allende was from the left I
don't think was it idea to create a Comunist Estate, like Cuba, in
Chile.
Under none circunstance is forgettable the murders of civilians,
Here in Cuba before the Comunist regimen, we had the same sort of
dictatorship like in Chile, that is why I think I know what I'm
talking about, here like in Chile the economy rise a lot , but againg
that is not a justification for the persecutions and the murders of
the opositors.
If my memory don't fail i Think that the song "Bullet the blue sky"
is about the Chile regimen.
