A pre-emptive strike (hopefully)

Dear Wire brethren,

In my claim about the finale of "A Conspiracy of Hope" tour being
the U2's defining moment, I made a partial mistake. No one has nailed me
for it yet, so this is indeed a "pre-emptive strike".
"Wide Awake in America" was released in 1985. The show I claim to be
the defining moment for our beloved band was in 1986. At first, I was
befuddled as to how I could make such a silly and/or unforgivable error.
Ahhh...again, one must remember the historical context. This album was
released on LP and CASSETTE in 1985 (no word on the 8-track version,
though - *wink*, *wink*); however, the CD version was released, as I
accurately stated, in late spring/early summer of 1986 (around the time
of the show, give or take a couple of weeks; it was released outside of
the USA 1-2 weeks before it was released in the USA). Yes, younger
Wirelings, albums were not released on CD immediately in the
quasi-neolithic times of the mid-'80's. So, the problem is solved.
Just to show you again that I am in fact imperfect, I included a
1989 release in my '90's Top 10 listed above. If you can find it, you
win...ummm...the knowledge that you were the first to find it and the
honorary "'90's-music Scholar of the Day" title. Both are prestigious
honors. One Wire reader has a lot riding on this, so you better be
quick! (Hurry, Rashas, hurry!)
