Hello Everybody-

I have been brainstorming ways to ethically raise funds so I can
survive my senior year of college and I've decided to sell my U2
videos that aren't getting watched anyway. So here they are, and it
is not easy to part with them. I'm selling them via silent auction
which means there will be no running up of the price by me, just make
me an offer (minimum of $10 for bootlegs and $5 for the released
videos) and the best one I get by midnight Seattle time (PST) on
Sunday, 10/25, will get the videos. I'm also donating at least 10%
(more if I make a lot) of what I make to World Vision, a Christian
hunger-relief organization that I'm involved with. The rest,
honestly, will go to pay bills and buy books for next quarter. There
is only one copy of each video listed, I'm not dubbing them and
selling multiple copies to rip people off.

A note on the descriptions: 'Pro' means multiple camera angles,
editing, and soundboard quality sound. 'Audience' usually means one
steady shot and poorer sound quality. The grading scale reflects
strictly the quality of the recording (how many generations away from
the original, sound, etc.) and not the band's performance or the
Television show's quality.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions of these videos before placing
your bid ([email protected]). Feel free to bid for as many as
you like and please include the video #, date, and title in with your
bid. Thanks...

Bootlegged Videos:

#1: `81-`82__3 Early Shows__105min__B+__Pro
                -Belgium, Gatesburg, & Germany

#2: `83-`86__4 shows from TV__110m__B+__Pro
-Live Aid, US Fest in San Diego, Atlanta Amnesty show, and French TV
show in '84.

#3: 1987__Rochester, LA, & SF__115m__B-/B+__Audience
-very rare and interesting audience footage of the LA show atop the
Tavern (WTSHNN video) and the 'Save the Yuppies' San Francisco show
(AATWT in R&H) including a 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday' much like the one
from the R&H video. Rochester includes the beginning and three or
four songs into the show.

#4: 1987__Outside It's America__45m__A+__Pro
-MTV show-great, fantastic behind the scenes video of the JT tour.
PLUS, 1997 MTV 'U2 A to Z' show with 3 hours of U2 videos!

#5: 1987__R&H Outtakes Tape 1__115m__C+__Pro
-Fantastic footage that was left on the Rattle and Hum editing
floor. Rare and valuable despite the poorer quality.

#6: 1987__R&H Outtakes Tape 3__120m__B__Pro
-Includes most of a Boston concert (in color) and a 45 minute Press
Conference the day after as well as a soundcheck with complete
instrumental version of 'Bad'.

#6a: 1.10.90 - Rotterdam, Holland - A- - Audience
-Even though it is one camera angle, it is professionally done with
great sound. Also, this is the last show of the Lovetown Tour and the
last show before ZOO TV.

#7: `87-`92__TV Compilation 120m__A__Pro
-Includes 1988 Smile Jamaica show from MTV, Fox ZooTV special (very
good show!), and a humorous 1987 promo by the band for NEA (amongst
other things).

#8: 11.07.92__Oakland__125m__B+__Audience
-Full show, better than average audience video.

#9: 08.18.92__Saratoga, NY__115m__A-__Audience
-Full show, even better than average audience video.

#10: 11.3 or 4.93__Adelaide, Australia.__120m__A-__Pro
-I think this was the video that they filmed just in case the Sydney
broadcast didn't work. Definitely professionally done, but it
switches between black & white and color for some reason.

#11: `92-`97__TV Compilation__4hrs__A+__
-Sellafield TV show, many '92 awards shows, '94 pre-Sydney broadcast
show, all '97 MTV POP stuff,'97 MTV ZOOTV shows (not the concerts but
those informative TV shows- very cool stuff), ABC's 'A Year in Pop',
Bono & Larry on Letterman, more.

#12: 02.10.98 - Popmart in Santiago, Chile - 135min - Pro (TV broadcast)
-I've never seen this video because it is in European format and I
don't know where to get it converted.

Officially Released Videos:

#13: 1983 - 'Under a Blood Red Sky' - Live at Red Rocks - 55min
-The video that made the band... classic show and recording.

#14: 1985 - The Unforgettable Fire Collection - 51min
-includes videos for TUF, Bad, Pride (2 versions), and ASOHC plus a
documentary on the making of the album- very interesting.

#15: 1988 - Rattle and Hum - 100min
                -If you don't know this video, you aren't a U2 fan :-O...

#16: 1992 - Stop Sellafield: The Concert - 45min
-only 2 songs from U2's set but includes loads of interviews about
the day as well as songs by Kraftwerk, B.A.D. II, and Public Enemy.
Very Rare Video!

#17: 1994 - ZOOTV - Live from Sydney - 120min
-Classic down under broadcast. Best full-length U2 concert Video?

Thanks, and please send all bids, questions, donations, advice,
admonishments, etc. to me at [email protected].

Love, Patrick
