Thinking back I must have joined about 6 months after zooropa came out,
but didn't post anything of substance (and still don't) for a while after
that.
Just taking you through my best of Wire...
* What would a "best of" be without Danny "The" Best, the greatest,
most reputeable salesman to walk the earth. And then disappear
from it.
* Religion debates, managed to cut them down to about 1 major one
every six months, and a minor one every three.
An achievement in itself
* USA Vs Australia
* USA Vs Europe
* USA Vs the World
* USA Vs The Outer Provincial Zones of Tonga
(Tonga won that 4-3 in extra time)
* The Olsen Twins
* "stop posting unrelated stuff"
"stop posting 'stop posting unrelated stuff' unrelated stuff"
* Tiny album-release-day digests (a lazy 300 + messages saying
"I bought it")
* The phoney tracklist
and more recently...
* J's "I'm selling CDR copies of the Sweetest thing promo for $40",
and the ppl that "bought" it
OK, they were the best moments, some of the downsides to the list...
* U2 related discussion
* Band accommodation details in your hometown
* idiots selling dumb photos from some "popmart" thing
* Australian Sarcasm
Seeya,
