I always thought that it was the Label who set the prices... Polygram
has been known to have high prices. When "Pop" was supposed to be
released on March 4th in Canada, some stores put it on their shelves two
days early to "protest" Polygram's prices...
I could understand why it would be so expensive...how else would they
pay U2 the $50 million? Well, that's my 3rd post for the day...time to
go to bed.

I just picked up the trashy free newspaper (I'm sure you guys all have
them,
oo. You know, music, movies, and pornographic classifieds) and there was
an
add for the GH. There was another add from Sam the Record Man saying
that
the GH limited edition would be ?ON SALE!? for 28.99 for its first week
of
release. If this is really a sale, and not just a greedy record store,
I'm
rather pissed! I mean, I just got the counting crows' double CD a couple
months ago for $15.99 (special price or something, but anyway) and
usually,
double cd's don't cost much over $20.00. I was convinced that U2 hadn't
sold-out, but, unless this price changes, I'm being pulled by a super
powerful magnet over to the other side.

Have a U2ey day!
