READ this first THEN go to you nearest record store to check for the new
cd and video, 'cause i just bought my copies instead of waiting 'till
monday/tuesday. I can tell you this of course the CD(s) is/are great to
have and it comes with a nice booklet with early pictures. BUT the video
is awesome!!!! I had to go for an incomplete copy of the Dutch broadcast
of the mexico show, so this fantastic, complete with new terrific camera
angles/shots...the works!!! For those of you who (like me) hadn't seen
Gone yet from mexico---> look at the edge (you can't miss him) at the
kick in of GONE (like the move!!!)
BTW in an interview in the new (issued today) OOR (dutch top
musicmagazine http://www.oor.net/oor/1998/22/cover/cover.htm)Edge tells
that "the best of" songs have not really been remastered, only in a way
that they 'EQ' them again 'cause some original master tapes had suffered
a bit. This was one of the reasons that just October was used from the
'OCTOBER' album and not the popular 'GLORIA': the original had proven to
have suffered too much over the years.
