Underrated Songs, Redundancy, and Playboy Bunnies

Wirelings,

I killing three metaphorical birds with one stone. KP from
yesterday's Wire suggested doing a Top 10 b-sides list. This is already
in progress because I introduced the thread 4-5 days ago. But, by all
means, continue!
E.E. adds that "In God's Country" is comparably lighthearted to
"Trip Through Your Wires". This is true enough. But, if you consult my
list, it was a list of my Top 10 UNDERRATED songs, not my Top 10
LIGHTHEARTED songs. Also, IMHO, it's hard for me to consider a song with
"sad eyes, crooked crosses" as lyrics to be a lighthearted song.
Finally, I'm glad that Ms. Hefner saw the humor in my post from
yesterday. I also agree that POP is an under-appreciated album, not so
much by tried and true U2 fans, but by the general record buying public.
They don't realize they're missing something great! Enough said.

David Way
